Jack Sparrow was born in 2016 and led a full life for 8 years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge in May 2024. He was not just a guinea pig but a beloved companion and best friend to his human Mom and Dad, his fellow piggy brother Will Turner, and his feline sisters River and Ruth. Jack was a remarkable boy with a big personality, who always left a lasting impression on everyone he met and would garner so much love and attention. His family fondly remember his (very messy) hay nests, his loud wheeks for his favorite treats, his signature post-dinner green beard, and his nose nudges for pets & chin scratchies; his presence alone filled the home with so much delight. Despite facing health challenges throughout his life, Jack’s resilience and determination to keep going were an inspiration to all who knew him; he pushed every limit and made the time he had his own. Whether it was just chilling in his cozy gingerbread house or embarking on adventures, Jack lived life to the fullest. He traveled coast to coast twice, partied it up with college kids, and witnessed firsthand his family grow into the loving unit it is today. He was there for so many of his parents’ and his siblings’ milestones. It was an honor to have you in our lives, old boy. We miss you so much, Jack-Jack. You left a guinea pig-shaped hole in our hearts that can never be filled. You will always be loved then, now, forever. |
