Bitsy came to us from a shelter where we volunteered. She had a hard life, she had stomatitis and had lost a lot of weight. We brought her home and Bitsy was determined to make things work with our other cats and our three dogs. All of the crew accepted her and realized she was special. No one tried to eat her food, sleep in her spot or bark at her. In her three years with us, she went from a frail, quiet cat to a wonderful friend and skilled food thief. She gained weight, spoke her mind when she was hungry with vigorous meow and gave hugs from the heart. She had come to tolerate the occasional bubble bath, and being kissed by the dogs. She had to have a small sample of our dinner and if she did not get it, she would walk up and take something off your plate. Bitsy knew love in the short time she lived with us. We will miss her but deep down we know that she is with in our hearts and watching over us as an angel.
