With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Abbie, a sweet and spirited Yorkie who brought many years of joy, love, and laughter into our lives. Abbie was more than a pet; she was family, our constant companion, and the smartest girl we’ve ever known.
Abbie adored her daily walks, always lighting up at the words “Are you ready?” with a sparkle in her eyes and a bounce in her step. Even when congestive heart failure made walking difficult, she embraced stroller rides with the same enthusiasm, soaking in the world around her with grace and curiosity.
She was a proud big sister to Suzie, her pup sibling, and her cat siblings Cora and Sheena. She was always gentle, always loving. Abbie was also a cherished grand-dog, adored by all who met her. Whether freshly groomed or dressed in one of her favorite sweaters, she loved looking pretty and carried herself with elegance and charm.
One of Abbie’s greatest joys was curling up in warm, clean blankies. That was her little haven of comfort and peace, and it was in those cozy moments that her sweet soul truly shined.
Abbie passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by those who loved her most. Her absence leaves a deep ache in our hearts, especially for Kim and Jon, who loved her more than words can express. Her memory will live on in every quiet moment, every walk, and every loving glance from her furry siblings.
Rest well, sweet Abbie. You were truly one of a kind.
